My whole life has been built around the arts - starting the moment I could hold my crayons or charcoal pencils! Spent my younger adult years in fine arts, painting and selling my goods while owning and operating an inspiring creative frame shop and small art gallery. While recovering from a broken back after a serious car accident, I asked myself, "Are you doing what you want to do?" Well, the answer was NO. In my teens I planned to get my degree as an Interior Designer, but my father passed away my senior year and life took a different road. So, wearing my back brace, running my little frame shop, raising my two kids, I enrolled in college for my degree in Interior Design!! I loved every moment! - I soaked it up like a sponge and earned a degree with the honors of Summa Cum Laude, and I'm proud of it. So this new journey began! And now, welcome to First Impression Designs, here to serve your needs in the space planning and designing of your home, specifically Kitchens & Bathrooms, Offices, Color Analysis, Lighting Design, Tile selections, Flooring decisions, and much more. I am focused on providing professional, high-quality service and customer satisfaction - I will do everything I can to meet your expectations and create your dream home. With a variety of offerings to choose from and over 25 years of experience, I'm here for your needs in whatever area you wish to transform. I design with the thoughts, wishes and desires of my client's, working to create a space that you will feel comfortable and complete in. While guiding you in your choices, my goal is to create a unique, specifically "You" design that reflects your way of life, while bringing to you a kitchen, bath or other room that you will wake up each day feeling happy to create a meal in, entertain your friends, just sit and enjoy a cup of coffee, or relax and luxuriate in a restful soaking tub! But the absolute best, my greatest thrill, is when client's of mine, five years, ten years or more, call or write me to say "I still LOVE my kitchen and or bath"! I've had the pleasure of designing homes from Westchester NY, Rockland NY, Orange County NY - Northern NJ to the Adirondack's, Lake George, Schroon Lake, Saratoga Springs, Southern NH, and recently Cincinnati and Nashville, Virginia and Florida.
