"Upstate NY Updated Treasure"

This beautiful home is located in the Adirondack Mountain area, with beautiful views and a quite serene location.  My client had me re-do two bathrooms before we started to tackle updating, and definitely re-designing the kitchen space!!  The homeowners do a lot of family gatherings, and needed a much more functional kitchen to cook and enjoy family and friends.  See the "Before" and after!

Tranquil Lake Living

This tranquil, beguiling lake home brings feelings of comfort and relaxation to all who enter!  While this beautiful home is of new construction, elements of natural materials give an instant charm and coziness to the wide open spacious floor plan.  The homeowners are very conscientious about the environment, and took great measures to choose materials and finishes that are friendly to us all.  Their love of the lake gave them a vision on the nautical side, therefore, wonderful shades of blue with natural wood brings the outdoors inside.  It was my pleasure to get to know them and to work with them on their venture.  I know they will have many years of family gatherings and joy in this beautiful home.

Master Bath Magic!

This master bath was long awaiting a transformation!  And what a transformation we did!  Thank you Dave, for doing an amazing job on this renovation!

"Lakeside Makeover!"

This beautiful lakeside log home already had great character, and good bones, to work with.  What it needed was some TLC and extreme updating to create a more functional open kitchen floor plan!  Take a look at the before photos, and enjoy the transformation that took place!  A few adjustments make a huge impact.  By taking out the desk area, which is rarely used by homeowners, and adding a tall pantry and moving the refrigerator over into that area, we created a corner that is functional!  We removed the raised seating areas, creating a much better view of the space as well as allowing better use of the countertops for prepping and serving.  The backside of the peninsula area became a great beverage/bar area close to the dining/family room area.  The homeowner was able to also update by having double bin trash pull outs, roll out shelving, tray dividers, drawer microwave, beverage refrigerator and much more!  More photos to come:)  Enjoy

"From Cramped to Capacious!!"

Wow!  This was a fun renovation!  My client's were creating a fantastic addition, which allowed us to utilize the original kitchen space, and the dining area.  We created a very open, highly functional new kitchen with a huge island and plenty of work space and seating.  Hidden treasures inside the cabinets for organization, and a great coffee/beverage area surrounded by amazing storage.  It was a pleasure working with these homeowners to create a dream kitchen for them!

"Caught In a Jam to Now Flowing"

This amazing old farmhouse had undergone several additions and updates over all it's years!  Unfortunately, the last time the kitchen was updated, it was put right in the direct traffic line of exit out the back of the home:(  Anyone heading out back would have to pass through the kitchen/cooking area, causing a real traffic jam!  So, we set out to move the kitchen location, open up walls, move the entry to the walk in pantry, add a sliding glass door and transom window, as well as changing the windows in the new kitchen space.  It was a lot of work, but the pay off was huge!  My client's now have a kitchen three or more times the size of the last, perfect traffic flow and a wide open bright space that everyone can enjoy!

"Sleek and Classy!"

This beautiful home, which is new construction, has been created to have an open floor plan, with a full wall of doors on the first floor, which brings in amazing natural light.  The other lighting features are designed to bring amazing ambience to the space!  The clean lines of the cabinetry lend the home to a sleek and classy style.  This plan is extremely efficient and functional, as well as being beautiful and inviting!  A great space to entertain family and friends, in a busy household!  

"From Cramped and Dark to Light and Bright"

The original kitchen was dark and dated, so we set out to open up the space!  I wanted to bring in more natural light than a one window on each end of the kitchen area.  So we removed the wall between the dining/living area and the kitchen and WOW!  The light and beautiful view came to life.  Light painted cabinets around the perimeter and some beautiful rich dark wood for the island and hood, brought this new space style and character.  

"An Amazing Transformation!"

What a pleasure it was to work with my client's on their new addition and renovation of their kitchen!  And what a huge difference it made in the overall look and function of their home.  Although the kitchen space was long and narrow, we were able to create tons of storage, as well as an amazing amount of continual counter top space for prep work as well as serving area.  With an open pass thru to the new family room, fantastic seating was created, while keeping an open feeling in the kitchen area.  Shallow depth storage, which can be amazingly efficient since nothing gets lost in the back of the cabinet, flanked the far wall of the kitchen.  It is a wonderful transition and fun to see come together.

"Small Changes Make Big Results"

 Sometimes subtle changes have huge results!  By moving the range over a few inches, and taking out a closet style pantry space, we opened this kitchen up to lots of additional counter top space, and cabinetry.  As well, we fit a small island in!  The finish was a custom paint by Signature Custom Cabinetry, chosen by the homeowner from a Benjamin Moore swatch.  The results are fantastic.

"Fabulous In Florida"

This fabulous home is new construction in the beautiful lake area of Florida.  The kitchen and living space is wide open and inviting for entertaining, as well as a beautifully laid out kitchen to cook in.  White cabinets give a fresh crisp clean look, and the colors in the counter and back splash give it the Wow!

"Makeover Magic in Upstate NY"

The goal of this beautiful makeover was to create an amazing space for a large family to come together and enjoy time special occasions.  To create wonderful memories!  The original layout was very traditional in it's day, a separate kitchen/eating area, a separate 3 season room, a front living room, all divided up with walls.  And the view of the lake was completely obscured!  We removed several walls, made the 3 season room into a year round space, and gave this home a complete change to bring in sunlight and enjoy the views!

"Emerging from the Darkness!"

This truly went from darkness to light, open, welcoming!  And functional:)  The original kitchen was in the same space, but we took out the wall between the kitchen and dining area.  By adding a larger kitchen window, sliding glass door in the dining room, and using white cabinetry, we created an amazing make over that is brighter, more welcoming, easy to work in kitchen!  

"A Touch Of Class"

This kitchen was transformed from a standard builder style.  We brought the cabinets to the ceiling with crown moldings, built the refrigerator in between two panels, and upgraded to a granite counter top.  Cabinets are full of accessories, to maximize storage and function.

Read Renovation

We took an out of date, no longer useful, master bath and transformed it to fit the new lifestyle and tastes of the homeowner!  They had a vision and we had the means to make that vision a reality.  Taking out the old, never used Jacuzzi, and small shower area, allowed us to open up the whole space and create a large shower with bench seating, larger vanity area, and lots more storage!  It was a major project and it's transformation was magical!

"Simple Changes with Magnificent Results"

My client wanted a change that would make her small kitchen more functional, as well as create a more beautiful space.  We redesigned the island, taking out the raised barstool height seating area, and gave her a huge working surface, as well as additional storage.  This small kitchen feels like a big space now.  We took out standard builder grade cabinets and used custom cabinets with all the accessories to make the storage more functional.  And, the look is amazing also!

Removing the wall and bringing nature In!

This amazing home was a fabulous, and fun, transformation!   The homeowners were open and creative themselves.  We wanted to create an organic kitchen, with a lot of natural materials and a wide open feel!  We wanted space to display the homeowner's own pottery work, and her creative cooking!  We opened up the space from the kitchen into the family room, removed a walk in pantry, and added new windows to the family room to bring in more natural light. A Long Awaited Make Over!

This beautiful home had the traditional dark cherry cabinets, cook-top on the island, wall ovens and the customary "unused desk" area, which no longer fit the lifestyle and use of the homeowner.   She wanted to make a big change, without re-constructing the actual foot print of the space!  And we did just that!  It's now open, bright, functioning beautifully and a huge change for this homeowner who now loves to cook and entertain in her new kitchen! 

"An Addition For Family Gathering"

Wow! What this addition did for this home was amazing. The Dad in this story loves to cook! So, we took the existing kitchen and made it into a great walk in pantry and mudroom, and added a new addition to the back of the house to create an open kitchen-family room with a full master bedroom suite upstairs! This kitchen has all the bells and whistles for a fabulous cook! I couldn't be more excited for them as they enjoy entertaining family and friends in their amazing new home:)

This beautiful first floor renovation and addition created an amazing transformation to this home.  The original kitchen was approximately 18'-0" x 13'-0", with a small separate family room and dining room. This brand new home, in Tennesee, is owned by an amazing cook!  While the kitchen had an open floor plan, and nice working space with a closet pantry, it was missing something.  So we set out to create an amazing storage, serving area, multi-tasking bar/cooking space.  It is chocked full of accessories that help organize a ton of kitchen activities!

A Home To Entertain In!

This amazing renovation brought the whole downstairs to life!  By knocking out walls that opened up unused areas, as well as switching spaces for dining, adding an office area, and opening to a rarely used family room, this home became a totally lived in space!  Great entertaining as well as the day to day lifestyle of a busy family.  The two fireplaces were completely refaced and fitted with custom reclaimed wood mantels.  Take a close look at the before floor plan and the after!  What a transformation!

This beautiful kitchen is a cook's dream!  Plenty of open counter-top space with a touch of creative display areas.  A hidden, not often used, microwave, farmhouse sink, goose neck faucet, double ovens and a 6 burner gas cook-top!  Cherry beaded inset cabinetry with glass mullioned doors showcase beautiful dishes and glassware.  Ample seating at the island allows for a nice gathering area, which is open to the great room with full entertainment centers.

A Kitchen With Touchs Of An Artist

This home went through a fantastic transformation by adding a sunshine filled breakfast area, and by making a wide opening to the dining room and adding pocket doors!  Not only did this flood the whole area with natural light, it became roomy and a great space for entertaining family and friends.  The large island is a great gathering space and the glass and open cabinets allow a beautiful way to display decorative plates, wonderful dishes and pottery.  The homeowner is an artist and she has a great sense of color and balance, as well as her beautiful hand painted stools that give character to the room.

This beautiful townhouse sits on top of a mountain overlooking beautiful Lake George!  The natural light and high ceilings were magnificent!  The original kitchen was a small "U" shape. We opened it up, moved the refrigerator, made an island that has casters so the homeowner can be more flexible with their entertaining style.  Lots of glass doors on the new hutch area displays amazing collectibles, and allows extra counter top for serving.  Now we have an amazing open "big feel" space.

A Dream Kitchen Come True

A Kitchen for a Cook!

This home went through a huge transformation!  The kitchen and dining areas were switched.  We raised the ceiling adding amazing new windows that brought in great sunlight.  The homeowner loved to cook, so we decided to give them the space to do just that!

This custom home was designed and built by George and Glenn Rhein - Rhein Custom Home builders.  Built with every emphasis of a "green" project, as many natural and sustainable materials possible were used.  Slate roof, natural stone, KCMA certifified cabinets, quartz counters, and the list goes on.  Each detail was designed and beautifully executed to complete a magnificent home.

Condo Conversion!

This small condo kitchen opened up by removing the wall adjacent to the hallway, removed the pantry closet and let the sun shine through!  We created a breakfast bar/peninsula, and gave the dining area a lot more space!

McCullough Renovation

This renovation was done quite awhile ago, but I believe it is still unique in itself.  This is a walk out basement space (only 7'-0" ceiling height! and you wouldn't know it)!!, It was dark, dank and unused.  The downstairs entrance is a sliding glass door, down to the lakeside!  This became the entertaining center of the whole home!  We created, not only a fantastic kitchen area, seating area, but a master bedroom, laundry and full bathroom in this space.  

Vermont Ski Getaway

This small kitchen made a big improvement!  We kept the same footprint, but removed wall cabinets above the sink and brightened it up beautifully with white cabinets and stainless steel appliances.

Bringing Brightness To A Kitchen

This kitchen was very dated, needed an uplift!  We made a few adjustments, and the rest just fell into place.  Better lighting, and maximizing the space really helped this lovely little space.

Transforming A Closet To A Bar!

This space was a simple closet, meant to be some sort of desk space, in a family room!  Well, we made this a much more useful space with a fabulous bar!

"A New Hampshire Makeover!"

This comfortable little ranch is located in the beautiful White Mountain area, and is a perfect home, used right now as a relaxing getaway place!  It had a "galley" kitchen, which needed a huge makeover!  Look at the "before" photos!  What a transformation:)

"What A Difference An Addition Makes!"

I love this addition!  It helped create a beautiful, and very functional kitchen/dining area!  The additional seating, both at the island, and at the raised bar area looking into the family room, is invaluable!
